The affair with baking fairies, keeps me going everyday making the simplest things happen in our lives.
this looks amazing! i might have to replicate this for my other half one day! just wondering - did you make the masks and caps out of candy melts or of fondant?
Janine,It's made of gum paste. I made the gum paste myself, as it's a lot cheaper than buying from outside those ready made. But if you are busy, no harm getting the ready made ones, they are really good!! Yes, I made the whole thing by hands. very simple job anyway! :) show me yours ok??
sorry if i'm confused, but isn't gum paste not very tasty? :/ i haven't worked with gum paste before, but the cake pops look so adorable that I just might try it ;p
Janine,Gum last gives a better body/texture to mold and shape. Though it may not be as tasty as fondant.
These are so cute!
You are really good at this! They are so adorable! :)
Like this creative idea. What's the difference between gum paste vs fondant? Can you share on how to do gum paste from scratch?
Omg you are soooo good! Please cheak out my blog im a new blogger and it would help if i had some support and motivation please follow me as well and can you give me any advice on blogging?
Bano,Welcome to the blogging world! I'm afraid I'm not quite a right person to give you much tips for blogging as I myself is not a very active blogger! I just bake, and share most of the time. Enjoy blogging!,Hankerie,Gum past is form of sugar paste that has firmer texture kneading out shapes and it dries up faster and hard compare to fondant. I am sure you have books on fondant cakes, trey do give recipe for gum paste, some they call it modeling paste....
