Skim Milk (Suki-miruku)
In many Japanese bread making ,they use Skim milk.
What it really means is, milk powder. However, I find their skim milk(milk powder) is a little different from the normal milk powder we see or found locally. May be it's each individual brand that produce their skim milk in different texture.
I use this skim milk from Snow Brand for all bread making. It can be found at Meidi-ya supermarket.
